Area Thrifty One is the design label of Nanette Regan, who specialises in designing and making soft toys. Nanette has a degree in Painting from the Slade School of Fine Art and has since worked as a prop maker, puppet maker and scenery painter. Her biggest influences are illustrators Gyo Fujikawa, David McKee and Lauren Child and the Quilters of Gee's Bend.
Her new ‘make your own’ range are ideal gifts either as a kit or complete the kit yourself and give a truly personal handmade present.
